Cool! Our church has been approached about hosting a community garden, as we have LOTS of unused land - we could actually have a pretty big garden. Sounds like this one is great!
Yeah, Beki, churches are a great space for community gardens! So much land. A lot of them have requirements that everyone who has a plot has to work a certain number of hours in the larger charity plot, where to the produce goes to the church's food pantry. I wish every church that had the space would do one. Grass is such a waste of space! There are several grants out there for people to start CGs if someone at your church decides to champion the project:D
